Nashville, TN - Inland Marine Expo opening event saw three top-tier deckhands, tankermen, mates putting everything on the line in the high-stakes National Championship.  Prize money aside and not to be lost, our three finalists were true professionals - rooting one another on during the competition.

IMX'25 was packed with several thousand industry attendees, exhibitors and maritime professionals.  MARITIME THROWDOWN is an INDUSTRIAL MARITIME SKILLS COMPETITION, we increase safety and skill through competition.

Separate yourself form the crowd - Leighton Love (Central Boat Rentals); Adam Leblanc (Edison Chouest); Joe Wilson (Barge Transfer Services); Raymond Leonard (Broussard Brothers); Trey Martin (Ingram Barge); Kaden Jones (Ingram Barge) and Paul Casebonne (Blessey Marine) our UMC Marine Leaderboard coming into the Finals in Nashville.

The competition was intense.  Paul drew the first straw and was the first competitor to run the course.  New for 2025, is the addition of the Challenger Guide which now includes a "yellow" flag - a penalty warning - like in other professional sports (Futbol-Soccer; Football; NASCAR racing).

"In our day jobs, second chances might mean injury, catastrophic loss to life, equipment and impacts to our customers time-lines.", he continues.   "The Maritime Throwdown puts the industrial athlete under those same life impacts with the high-stakes earnings as the pressure catalyst".
